The State will control your self driving car

Found on FB:

Doesn't it seem odd that the State would be pushing self-driving cars so aggressively?

But think about what these cars will be able to do:

If you're late with your car payment, the car will drive itself back to the bank.

If you're late with a parking ticket or a fine, the car won't work. Won't go where you want to go. It will refuse your commands.

If there is a warrant out for your arrest, or if you skipped out on jury duty, the car will lock you inside and deliver you to the nearest police station.

If you owe the state money on your taxes? Same thing.

Every place you go in the car will be tracked.

Ultimately, as shown by the Michael Hastings murder, if they decide they want you dead, they can speed your car up to 100mph and crash it into a tree, thus ridding themselves as the problem known as You.

So yeah, lets embrace this! It's Big Brother's dream come true and it can't get here soon enough!

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. House on Wednesday unanimously approved a sweeping proposal to speed the deployment of self-driving cars without human controls by putting federal regulators in the driver’s seat and barring states from blocking autonomous vehicles.

The House measure, the first significant federal legislation aimed at speeding self-driving cars to market, would allow automakers to obtain exemptions to deploy up to 25,000 vehicles without meeting existing auto safety standards in the first year. The cap would rise over three years to 100,000 vehicles annually."

:-) More cages to be locked into.

I hadn't considered some of these aspects of self-driving cars. Of course, it makes sense. There will be a single, centralised 'hub' - there will have to be, for everything to be able to talk each other - and whoever controls that, will control it all. LOL, the world just gets smaller and smaller.

This should seem obvious to anybody who's been paying attention.

We recently purchased a new washing machine and dryer. The featured model at Home Depot was the "smart" Samsung unit. You can get a text message when your clothes are dry! Who needs that? Or a refrigerator that sends photos to your email?

It seems clear to me that the push towards 5G is about control over even the most boring and domestic aspects of life. Your social credit score too low? Shut off all your appliances...

And now we have Apple's new phone announced, which can use your face to unlock it. Which means the police can unlock your phone by holding your head very still and scanning your face. Even if you're dead, too, as long as your face isn't too mangled.

Good times.
