I suspect the Catalonians have been emboldened by Brexit - Christ, the EU technocrats must be freaking out - rumblings of disaffection in France too - one world gov't is looking a bit shaky right now!
Spain & Catalonia
Re: Spain & Catalonia
This has faded from my memory somewhat by now but I recall musing at the time that this can be a tricky call. It seemed to me that the events in Catalonia actually gave the Spanish state an opportunity to get tough and actually tighten its grip, whilst at the same time the EU had very little to say on the matter (because what was going down suited them perhaps). The creation of a EU army will no doubt be an aid to managing local struggles because, once created, it will need to practice mobilising, no one will take it seriously unless it does something .C_D wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2017 4:29 pmhttps://www.thespainreport.com/articles ... parliament
