What if it is unreal beyond comprehension?

Would you look away?

Look away to another day, a brighter day of woeful sorrow, a song that fills your heart with joy?

Compared to today.

But there is always - always - an undercurrent of menace there. It soils all that it touches, stretching backward and forward in time, from this point to the first - and back forward to the inevitable last. Why is it here, this fear?

A faint line around the edge. A cloud on the periphery of crystal clear. Just out of reach, a kiss missed that may never have been.

They guard it jealously. Inherited by chance, they took it and harnessed it as best they could. What little they learned of it granted power beyond imagination. But it came with a cruel price.

And wake we shall, from a dream without end, broken by moments of clarity that at first deceive, slowly form sights to behold, sights that shy and smart in awe, blinded one by one as they appear, fleeting chance to seize the piece, a piece that tears back the fold, the fold that reveals patterns so bizarre, so bizarre that to see is to know, on and on within plain sight, hidden that so few should dare to see.

Time to wake, human beings. Time to wake.

They lived a reality in which every one of them was loved. They awoke each day, safe. Their days were filled with creation, both in art and life. They could still waters. Their systems were clean, observing natures natural patterns - the ebb and flow of life and after. The rhythm of their world was fast and then slow, then fast again.

But they knew. They knew it was coming and that they were powerless in the face of it. Yet still they chose to remain unchanged. They were content. They were brave, because they had had it all, they had known what it is to be whole. But how could they warn of what the next would face? Should they? Should they tell the tale of the end, before the beginning had begun?

What happens when we are no longer allowed to talk about them?

What happens when we reach that point?

What kind of society will we be?

If we point out a fact... and it gets us killed?

When people you know just disappear and no one talks about it?

When it's best not to think about anything except the next moment of comfort?

We are going to find out, unless we act.

It's going to get real.

When the dam breaks, it will be a deluge.

Frightening at first, but a renewed spirit will quickly spread amongst us.

We will need honesty and integrity, once again.

You have a story that absolutely must be told.

But how to tell it, to a people that will not understand?

Encode it within that which is eternal.

Are you ready for the journey of many lifetimes?

A journey from which there is no turning back, not that you would want to.

A journey that will take you in one direction - forward.

A journey that will fill your heart with joy, that will make you weep the tears of realisation, at the wonder of it all?

It's all there, just waiting for you.

And the time grows near.

As the beginning of the end approached, I felt more alive than ever imagined. The beauty of the unimagined is in it's uniqueness. Something new. A surprise. Each and every day, hour, minute - each moment, just waiting to be revealed. Knowing it's there, but unknowing what it is.

It was all in plain sight. Sitting in the peripheral vision, a shape that feels familiar, but is somehow just out of reach.

Something not to look at too closely.

But, now it's time to take a look.

I wonder if the people that work at news media outlets - tv, radio and press - realise how divorced from reality they sound.

They must surely suffer from the ocassional inkling. Just a doubt, now and then.

The constant barrage of aggression. All the enemies that must be feared. The rightness of everything official. The prestige inherent in the leadership class. The powerful dominate the weak. They call it the law of the jungle, yet what is implied by this hackneyed slogan does not reflect how a jungle works at all. A jungle works in perfect symbiosis and maintains a perfect balance - all by itself.

Try this. Everything you see or hear on the news, consider the opposite.

The world may suddenly start to make a lot more sense.

Well now... that wasn't what I had expected.

But what had I expected?

One thing leads to another. That's the flow, right?

Turns out that the most extraordinarily complex is always the simplest. The end point always meets the beginning.

But what do I know, right?

Nothing.

I'm liking this.

It's as though they know the future.

In a sense, they do.

It's like a kettle coming to the boil, slowly heating at first, exponentially heating more quickly as boiling point approaches, then the moment before boiling arrives the first bubble appears, then an avalanche. The moment between not boiling is boiling is very brief.

The moment just before the boiling avalanche is where they operate. Extremely effectively, I might add. But very little room for error.
Errors are creeping in.

Which is why things are tightening up.

Do they have a helping hand? Quite possibly. But, by it's very nature - sly, underhand, hidden, false - those to whom they serve in the hope of favour, are far more likely than not to betray. It's the nature of the game. It is their own exceptional hubris that blinds them to their fallibility.

Irony.

Just beyond living memory, where shadow falls and the boundary fails, lay events too past to conceive.

But how can it be... that we all forgot?

The Indiginous people of the World learned history from their forefolk.

We do not.

So who do we trust most? The learned scholars who make a living from selling stories - or the tales from our forefolk?

The indiginous are about to be heard.

The Realisation is quickening.

Those that see and run headlong toward it (The Embracer)

Those that see - and hide away from it (The Denier)

Those that do not see. (The Unseeing)

The Embracers are both the greatest danger to The System and in the greatest danger - they risk the ire of both the Deniers and The Unseeing. The System knows this well and will use the Deniers and the Unseeing against the Embracer.

However, something seen cannot be unseen.

This places The Deniers in a dilemma that will they will eventually have to face - the relative comfort of strangled sleep, or the real dangers of acknowledging their sublimated wakefulness.

The Deniers are key to the outcome.

The scope of the changes ahead are unimaginable.

What happens when a sentient species realises that everything it believes in, is someone - or something - else's manufactured reality?
That it lives at the whim of a process of which it is unaware?

It's all there - hidden in plain sight. Waiting to be unearthed.

The moment is here.
